PEORIA COUNTY, Ill. – The Peoria County Sheriff’s Office says a motorcyclist was seriously injured late Sunday afternoon in a head-on crash with a truck west of Peoria in Limestone Township.
Sheriff Chris Watkins says the accident happened on Kickapoo Creek Road, just south of Airport Road when the motorcycle and the truck collided on a curve.
The motorcyclist was taken to a hospital with a head injury. The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
The sheriff’s office was assisted at the scene by the Limestone Fire Department.
