PEORIA, Ill. – An investigation is underway after a postal worker was robbed in South Peoria.
Peoria Police says the 62-year-old female postal worker was reportedly robbed at gunpoint in the area of Butler and Charlton just after 12:15 P.M. Wednesday.
The victim told police that she was approached by an unknown male who reportedly showed a handgun and stole personal property from her, then fled on foot.
The woman was not injured.
A search with a K9 officer was negative.
Peoria Police currently do not have any suspects.
