PEORIA, Ill. – Peoria’s 4th District City Council member Andre Allen has been chosen by Gov. J-B Pritzker to serve on the Tri-County River Valley Development Authority, which issues tax-free bonds to finance economic development projects in the area.
The authority serves Peoria, Tazewell, and Woodford counties.
In a release, the governor’s office said Allen is a “collaborative and results-driven leader with extensive experience in government administration, civic engagement, and higher education.”
