PEORIA, Ill. – A Peoria County grand jury has indicted the three people charged with murder in connection to a fatal shooting last month in South Peoria.
The grand jury Tuesday indicted 20-year-old Christoper Adams, 18-year-old Kemareon Bell, and 17-year-old Lamar Cagle each with First Degree Murder.
The three are due back in court on Thursday.
They are charged in connection to the death of 20-year-old Teron Scott in the early morning hours of June 20th.
Scott was found with a gunshot wound in the back of a vehicle that had crashed into a tree at MLK Park.
Adams, Bell, and Cagle were allegedly in the other vehicle that drove recklessly to catch up to and fire shots at the vehicle Scott was in.
