(Reuters) -German truck maker Traton reported on Wednesday a 1% increase in second-quarter deliveries year on year despite ongoing uncertainty over U.S. import tariffs.
The Volkswagen subsidiary said its international motors division saw a 10% increase in sales following a fire at a supplier’s plant in the prior-year quarter.
“However, the U.S. market faces ongoing uncertainty regarding the impact of import tariffs and the economic outlook,” a statement said, adding that half-year sales in that unit had fallen by 2%.
