PEORIA, Ill. – A 17-year-old male is the third person arrested in connection to a homicide from last month in South Peoria.
Peoria Police says the teen was arrested Monday afternoon for First Degree Murder and taken to the Juvenile Detention Center.
He was arrested in connection to the June 20th shooting that left 20-year-old Teron Scott dead with a gunshot wound in the back of a vehicle.
The vehicle Scott was in had crashed into a tree at MLK Park after a shooting occurred in the area of MacArthur and McBean.
20-year-old Christopher Adams and 18-year-old Kemareon Bell are also charged with murder in connection to the death.
