PEORIA, Ill. — Peoria Police responded just before 3 a.m. Friday to the Dream Night Club, in the 2200 block of SW Washington Street, on a report of at least two people shooting at each other.
Peoria Public Information Officer Amy Dotson said a suspect vehicle fled the scene at a high rate of speed.
“Officers located an adult male victim with life-threatening injuries in an alley. The male was pronounced deceased at the scene,” Dotson said.
The Peoria County coroner, Peoria Fire Department and AMT were called to the scene.
Further information regarding the victim’s injuries will be released by Peoria County Coroner Jamie Harwood at the conclusion of the autopsy.
The incident remained under investigation.
