PEORIA, Ill. – Peoria Fire officials say they’re investigating a morning blaze Friday as intentionally-set.
Crews were called to the 2400 block of North Gale just before 7:00 a.m., and immediately saw smoke and flames coming out of the one-and-a-half story home.
Officials say the fire was under control in about 15 minutes after forcing their way in. No one was inside.
The home sustained $45,000 in what was described as major heat and smoke damage.
Officials did not say how or where in the home the fire was set, but an investigation is continuing.
