PEORIA, Ill. — Peoria Police were called just after 7 p.m. Sunday to the Shell Gas station in the 1900 block of N. Knoxville.
A ShotSpotter alert indicated 8 rounds were fired during a fight at the gas station.
A woman was shot in the arm while inside her car at a gas pump.
Police said it did not appear that the woman was the intended target.
The woman’s injuries were not believed to be life-threatening.
The incident remained under investigation.
