PEORIA, Ill. — A second shooting Monday night in Peoria left a woman critically wounded, according to police.
Peoria Police Lt. John Briggs said officers were called about 9:20 p.m. to the 2300 block of W. Ann Street after a ShotSpotter alert indicated multiple shots fired.
Another person was hospitalized after being shot in the arm on Peoria’s South Side hours later.
PPD responded to a ShotSpotter alert just before 1 a.m. Tuesday in the 1500 block of Lydia.
The victim’s condition was unknown.
