PEORIA, Ill. — Peoria Police responded to a Shotspotter alert around 7:30 a.m. Friday in the 2400 block of West Malone.
Police confirm a man was being treated for a gunshot wound, but did not release any information about the man’s condition, or if any arrests have been made.
The shooting on W. Malone took place just four hours after two people were shot at the Dream Night Club in the 2200 block of SW Washington Street.
It’s unclear if the two shootings are related.
