PEORIA/KNOX COUNTIES, Ill. – Peoria County Coroner Jamie Harwood says the victim in the crash has not been pronounced dead yet.
He says further testing is being conducted Wednesday morning.
“I will advise when a time of death has been determined, and then give family time to notify their other family members,” Harwood said.

PEORIA COUNTY/KNOX COUNTY, Ill. – A two-vehicle crash at the Peoria/Knox County line Tuesday afternoon has turned fatal.
Illinois State Police say the driver of an UTV ran a stop sign at the intersection of U.S. 150 and E. Knox Road, hitting a pickup truck around 3:54 p.m.
ISP says the driver of the UTV was taken by LifeFlight to a hospital in serious condition, where they were pronounced dead Tuesday night.
The driver of the pickup was not injured in the crash.
More information, including identification of the victim, will come later from the Coroner’s Office.

PEORIA COUNTY/KNOX COUNTY, Ill. – The Peoria County Sheriff’s Office says one person had serious injuries and was LifeFlighted to a hospital Tuesday afternoon… following a crash involving a UTV and a pickup truck.
The crash happened at U.S. 150 and Cedar Bluff Road – at the line between Peoria and Knox Counties just after 3:50 p.m.
