PEORIA, Ill. – One person had to be extracted from a vehicle via the “Jaws of Life” after a crash in Peoria early Sunday morning.
Peoria Fire says the crash occurred at around 3:12 A.M. in the area of Loucks and Isabell, when the driver of a vehicle struck a parked truck.
The first fire crew on scene reported one person trapped inside the vehicle because of extensive damage to the front passenger side.
Once the person was extracted from the vehicle, they were taken to the hospital via Advanced Medical Transport with possible serious injuries.
