PEORIA, Ill. — Peoria Police were called around 7:50 p.m. Tuesday to the 2300 block of W. Starr on a ShotSpotter alert indicating multiple shots were fired.
Police Sgt. Amy Dotson said two juveniles were shot. The victims were a 13-year-old boy and a 14-year-old girl.
Dotson said the 13-year-old was shot in the leg, while the 14-year-old was shot in the arm. They were taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
No arrests have been made. The incident remains under investigation.
