UPDATED 12:08 p.m.
PEORIA, Ill. — Peoria Police responded just after 9 a.m. Thursday to a ShotSpotter alert of 25 rounds fired on W. Antoinette.
Peoria Public Information Officer Semone Roth says officers arrived to find two males down on West Antionette near Madison Park Terrace. No word on their ages.
Both males had gunshot wounds. Roth says one victim was in critical condition, the other was stable.
There’s no suspect information at this time.
The incident does not appear to be connected to Wednesday night’s shooting on W. Marquette Street that left six people injured, two of them, an adult male and a juvenile male, in critical condition.
Roth confirms another shooting happened around 10:15 a.m. Thursday while officers were on-scene at W. Antoinette, at S. Helen and S. George Streets. That shooting is being recorded so far as Peoria’s 18th homicide of the year.
