MARIETTA, Ill. – They turned out to be not that big of a deal, but the National Weather Service confirms two tornadoes touched down in rural Fulton County Saturday.
The Weather Service says two tornadoes briefly were on the ground – considered to be landspout tornadoes – between 2:30 and 2:45 Saturday afternoon south of Marietta.
Neither are believed to have caused any damage, and neither traveled very far.
