PEORIA, Ill. – A Peoria man was arrested after a stabbing early Friday morning.
Peoria Police officers responded to West Main and Sheridan at around 12:54 A.M., and found an adult male with a stab wound.
He was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The identified suspect, 31-year-old Gene Thompson Jr., returned to the scene shortly after and was taken into custody.
He was arrested for Aggravated Battery and taken to the Peoria County Jail.
