PEORIA, Ill. – A Peoria man has been arrested on charges accusing him of secretly recording people in an employee bathroom at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center.
Peoria County State’s Attorney Jodi Hoos says 28-year-old Doctor Henry Chang is jailed on 10-thousand dollars bond on a count of Unlawful Video Recording.
Hoos says police went to Saint Francis Wednesday to investigate after a female employee discovered a camera in the restroom after it fell from its hiding place.
It’s believed multiple female employees were recorded.
It’s not clear what Chang practiced with OSF. If he’s released from jail, Chang has been ordered to surrender his passport and be on GPS monitoring until his case is resolved.
“We encourage anyone who believes they may have been recorded that day to contact either the Peoria Police Department or Peoria County State’s Attorney Investigators,” said Hoos, in a news release.
Hoos expects Chang’s case to be brought to the Peoria County Grand Jury.
