PEORIA, Ill. – We’re learning more about a concrete delivery truck that overturned in Peoria during the morning rush hour Wednesday.
Peoria Firefighters were called to Darst and Krause around 7:45 a.m. for the truck that had rolled over.
Officials say the driver was still inside when they arrived, and it was leaking hydraulic fluid, water, and motor oil.
The driver was able to be rescued and taken to a local hospital, where he was expected to be treated and released.
It’s not clear what caused the concrete truck to crash, but an estimated 30-thousand dollars in damage was done.
Crews were on scene for several hours before the area was reopened.
