PEORIA, Ill. – A fire in a vehicle at a tow truck company’s lot apparently did minimal damage.
That’s according to Peoria Firefighters, who say they saw thick black smoke at first coming from the “Inabit Towing” lot on Southwest Jefferson just before 11:30 Tuesday morning.
Fire officials say the blaze was coming from two cars and an RV on the lot and was deemed unintentional.
Damage was estimated at only $3,000, and firefighters had to cut a hole in a fence to get in.
No one was hurt.
