MORNING...
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.
* WHERE...Portions of central Illinois and west central Illinois,
including the following counties, in central Illinois, Marshall,
McLean, Peoria, Stark, Tazewell and Woodford. In west central
Illinois, Fulton and Knox.
* WHEN...From this afternoon through Monday morning.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occur
in poor drainage and urban areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Multiple rounds of scattered thunderstorms are expected this
afternoon into the overnight hours across areas that recently
received heavy rainfall. Peak rainfall rates of 1 to 2 inches
per hour are possible. New rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches
are expected, with locally higher amounts possible.
