PEORIA, Ill. — Peoria Police were called just before 1:30 a.m. Thursday to the Marathon Gas Station in the 1900 block of W. Forrest Hill on reports of a shooting.
Responding officers found a male victim in the parking lot of the gas station with gunshot wounds to his arm and back. He was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
“Police dispatch a short time later informed officers that a second victim arrived at a hospital by private vehicle with a gunshot wound to his back. His injuries were also non-life-threatening,” Sgt. Amy Dotson said.
PPD has no suspect information at this time.
The incident remains under investigation.
