SPRINGFIELD, Ill. – No one won the top prize in Friday night’s drawing of the multi-state Mega Millions lottery game.
That will now push the top prize for the next drawing Tuesday night to $1.05 billion dollars, the 5th time in the history of the game it’s hit the billion dollar mark.
Those who choose to take the lump sum cash option would receive a total of $527.9 million.
The jackpot for Friday night was $940 million. The winning numbers were 5-10-23-52-63 and 18 for the Mega Ball.
One person in Pennsylvania won $5 million for matching all five white balls with the Megaplier add-on option. Four others matched all five without the Megaplier to win $1 million.
In Illinois, one of the largest prizes in the history of the Lotto game is up for grabs on Saturday evening, with a top prize of $20.3 million.
