EAST PEORIA, Ill. – Some of the rain we’re expecting later Friday afternoon and into the early evening could get severe.
That’s according to 25 News First Alert Chief Meteorologist Chuck Collins, who says the storms are expected to be scattered.
“Damaging winds, large hail, and locally heavy rain are the primary threats after 4:00 (Friday) afternoon,” said Collins. “Storms will continue into the evening, but the severe threat will diminish after sunset.”
With the exception of most of the daytime hours Saturday and all day Monday, rain chances continue into most of next week.
