PEORIA, Ill. – It’s being canceled again.
Peoria-Area Community Events says for the fourth year in a row, what was the annual “Taste of Peoria” has been canceled.
Similar to last year, officials say it’s due to a lack of restaurant participation.
But this time, those restaurants are blaming inflation increasing their costs, along with losses of restaurant staff.
No word on if it will return next year. It’s been canceled every year since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic.
