WEST PEORIA, Ill. – A man reported missing in South Dakota has been found dead in Peoria County.
Peoria County Sheriff Chris Watkins says Eric King, 55, was found inside a storage facility on Farmington Road around 1:45 p.m. Tuesday.
Watkins says the storage facility was rented out to King.
King — driving a vehicle with South Dakota license plates and a “Student Driver” bumper sticker — was reported missing by his family in that state Sunday.
Watkins says Peoria County Coroner Jamie Harwood plans an autopsy for a later time, when a cause of death will be determined. But, Watkins says there were no signs of foul play when King’s body was found.
