PEORIA, Ill. – A Peoria man is charged by a county grand jury with allegedly having sexual contact with a minor.
The grand jury charged Michael Montford, 26, with a felony count of Aggravated Criminal Sexual Abuse. Jail records indicate Montford has been jailed since May 17, and counts of Grooming and Resisting a Peace Officer he was arrested on were not formally filed.
Montford is accused of committing a sexual act with a minor between the ages of 13 and 17 around April 1.
Montford is jailed on $50,000 bond, and will be arraigned Thursday.
