PEORIA, Ill. – Two separate shootings in Peoria early Sunday morning that sent six people to the hospital is under investigation.
Peoria Police officers arrived at OSF St. Francis at around 1:15 A.M. on reports of four of the victims arriving to the emergency room.
The four victims include 22-year-old male with arm and chest gunshot wounds who is listed in stable but critical condition.
The other three victims are in stable condition; a 22-year-old male with a graze wound to the right tricep, an 18-year-old male with gunshot wounds to the leg, hip, and cheek, and an 18-year-old male with a gunshot wound to the knee.
Officers learned of a shooting in the area of War Memorial and Knoxville, where shots were fired at one vehicle from an unknown vehicle.
While that shooting was being investigated, a 16-year-old and a 17-year-old arrived at OSF after reportedly being shot at Grandview Park.
The 16-year-old was shot in the foot while the 17-year-old was shot in the lower abdomen.
Prior to both shootings, officers responded to several vehicles gathered in the rear lot at Peoria Central High School. The vehicles left upon officers arrival.
Authorities say all six victims were at the gathering.
Police have no information on suspects in either shooting at this time.
