DEERFIELD, Ill. — In an effort to keep employees safe, Caterpillar, Inc. has announced enhanced protocols in the fight against COVID-19 and the Delta variant.
Following the latest guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), CAT said on Sunday that employees will be required to wear a mask at all U.S. production and distribution facilities in areas that are experiencing “substantial” or “high” transmission of the coronavirus.
Limited occupancy return to Caterpillar facilities is being paused, with many employees resuming remote work, due to the current surge in COVID cases nationwide.
