PEORIA, Ill. – A juvenile was arrested after Peoria Police responded to a pair of ShotSpotter alerts late Saturday afternoon.
Details were released Sunday afternoon. Peoria Police said the alerts of six and sixteen rounds fired were reported around 3:55 p.m. Saturday on North Street, inbetween McClure and Arcadia.
A vehicle the suspect believed to have fled the scene in was later found on Great Oak Road, and a juvenile at that spot was taken into custody.
Age or gender are not known, but the juvenile was taken into custody on charges of Aggravated Discharge of a Firearm and Unlawful Use of a Weapon.
