PEORIA, Ill. – A national bowling and gaming chain is closing its Peoria location in about two months.
Officials with “Round1” say slow sales are to blame for the closure of the location at Northwoods Mall, effective May 21st.

Manager Krista Hamrick tells 25 News the facility employs 24 full- and part-time employees.
She says Round1 will be open Sunday through Thursday every week from two to 10 p-m, and from noon to midnight on Fridays and Saturdays from noon until midnight.
California-based Round1 IS a concept that started in Japan in the 1980’s before moving to California, opening its first U.S. location in 2010.
Its website says there are more than 50 locations in this country, with one just opening in Texas.
