Peoria Public Schools has approved a 3-percent raise for Superintendent Sharon Desmoulin-Kherat, and a $5,000 bonus.
The PPS School Board voted 4-2 in favor of the pay raise Monday night.
During the 2017-2018 school year, Kherat earned just under $250,000.
In January, the school board approved a five-year contract extension, giving Kherat a salary of $260,000 a year.
School Board President Dan Adler said according to the last contract, Kherat’s salary was already set to increase by 3-percent in the 2019-2020 school year.
