ST. LOUIS — St. Louis City and County will implement a new mask mandate starting Monday, July 26.
Starting Monday, everyone five and older will be required to wear a mask in indoor and public transportation settings.
Officials are also urging people to wear masks in outside if they are in a group.
Exceptions are made for those sitting inside a restaurant while eating or drinking, or for those who have disabilities that prevent them from wearing a mask.
The announcement comes as Delta variant spreads rapidly in the St. Louis region.
