PEORIA, Ill. – A Peoria man was arrested Tuesday after the discovery of a stolen vehicle.
Peoria Police says their Special Investigations Division and Patrol Unit located a stolen vehicle in the 200 block of Green St. in the area of Taft Homes at 5:53 P.M.
Officers then conducted a traffic stop in the area of Green and Adams Streets, where three occupants of the vehicle were detained.
Robert Wesley, 43, was taken into custody without incident, and then arrested on a charge of Possession of a Stolen Motor Vehicle.
He was taken to the Peoria County Jail. While jail records indicate Wesley has a lengthy arrest history, Wesley was released with a Notice to Appear in Court.
