PEORIA, Ill. — With cold temperatures and wind chills below zero in Central Illinois through Wednesday, the City of Peoria has warming stations open to the public.
Warming stations are available at the Peoria Police Department Lobby and at fire stations throughout the city.
The Police Department Lobby, located at 600 SW Adams Street, is open Monday-Friday from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
All Peoria Fire stations are also able as warming locations from 7 a.m. – 7 p.m., though the citizens may be asked to leave during active fire calls.
