PEORIA, Ill. — The Peoria City/County Health Department (PCCHD) Friday reported hospitalizations in the tri-county due to COVID-19 have increased by four in the last 24 hours.
One of the extra beds in use is an ICU bed. The other three are non-ICU.
PCCHD Friday also reported 23 new cases in the tri-county area. Peoria County and Tazewell County both added 11 new cases, while Woodford County saw just one new case.
No new deaths were reported in the last 24 hours.
On a regional level, the positivity rate is down to 1.6%, ICU bed capacity stayed at 24% compared to Thursday, and hospitalizations decreased by five in Region 2 in the last 24 hours.
