PEORIA, Ill. — The Wayne A. Downing Peoria International Airport is launching a newly redesigned website.
The updated flypia.com will offer passengers and area residents increased functionality and ease of use.
The PIA website will now feature a new navigation bar, enhanced search functions, iconography, trip calculator and a specialty page.
“It’s a big step forward, optimizing capabilities on the backend as well as to the customer,” said Gene Olson, director of airports. “Our old site was outdated and not user friendly…the new site has a fresh look and positions us to grow accordingly.”
PIA’s new site is being created “mobile first”…allowing the same content to be found on tablets and mobile devices with the same ease as desktop/laptop formats.
