PEORIA, Ill. — Avanti’s restaurants throughout the Peoria area Tuesday announced temporary closures are being put in place due to staffing issues.
Avanti’s Main St., North Peoria, and East Peoria locations will be closed on Mondays, while Avanti’s in Rockwood and Pekin will be closed on Tuesdays.
According to a Facebook post, the closures are being put in place so “employees may have the day off to spend needed time with their families.”
“We hope that this will be a temporary situation as we are and have been actively seeking Management and Crew,” the post said. “If you know someone in need of a management or crew position we would love to interview them for a job.”
