PEORIA, Ill. — Peoria, Tazewell, and Woodford Counties combined between Tuesday and Wednesday for 323 new cases of COVID-19.
192 of the cases are Peoria residents, 110 live in Tazewell, and the other 21 are Woodford.
Hospitalizations increased to 156 from Tuesday’s 147. 43 of the 156 as of Wednesday afternoon were in intensive care.
A Tazewell County man in his 80s passed away during the reporting period from the virus.
Region Two’s ICU bed availability remained at 18%. The amount of patients in hospital beds increased by five, while rolling seven-day positivity rate increased by .2%.
