LIMESTONE TOWNSHIP, Ill. — The Limestone Fire Department shut down Closen Road just after 10:30 a.m. Monday between Maxwell and Limestone due to an active gas leak.
Motorists were advised to use an alternate route.
The road was reopened to traffic just before 12 p.m.
