PEORIA, Ill. — 99 residents of Peoria, Tazewell, and Woodford Counties tested positive between Tuesday and Wednesday for COVID-19, but no virus-related deaths occurred.
57 of the new cases were in Peoria, with 30 in Tazewell and 12 in Woodford.
The hospital bed count decreased by 10, 35 to 25. Seven of the 25 were intensive care-level.
Region Two’s positivity rate for the fifth day in a row stood at 2.8%.
ICU bed availability dropped to 28%, while the number of hospitalized people throughout the region rose from 81 to 82.
