NEW YORK — The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said on Monday that Americans who’ve been fully-vaccinated can now gather with other vaccinated people indoors without wearing a mask or social distancing.
Federal health officials also said that anyone who has been vaccinated can also interact in the same way with people considered at low-risk, such as fully-vaccinated grandparents visiting younger, healthy family members.
The CDC said a person is considered fully vaccinated two weeks after they receive their last required dose of a COVID-19 vaccine.
To date, roughly 30 million Americans have been fully vaccinated.
