SPRINGFIELD, Ill. — 10% of Illinois has officially gotten at least one dose of the COVID-19 shot.
A record-setting 95,375 people between Thursday and Friday received a vaccine.
2,598 people during that reporting period received positive test results. 32 deaths were reported.
Statewide hospitalizations inched downwards, incrementally, as 1,915 people as of Thursday night were in hospital beds. 437 of those patients were in intensive care, while 211 were on ventilators.
Labs throughout the state collected 103,009 specimens to be tested for the virus.
