PEORIA, Ill. — Peoria Police have arrested eight teenagers for mob action and battery following a fight at the Elevate Trampoline Park last Saturday night.
Peoria Public Information Officer Amy Dotson said the suspects are all between the ages of 13 and 16-years-old and were taken to the Peoria County Juvenile Detention Center following their arrests.
“Due to their age and status as juveniles, no further information will be released, including their names,” Dotson said.
Police were called to Elevate on Saturday, February 6, on reports of a large group of teens fighting.
Videos posted social media and YouTube showed the teenagers hitting each other and throwing trash cans and signs.
Upon arrival, officers were able to disperse the crowd, and no one was arrested the night of the fight.
Dotson said one parent “reported her child was attacked but refused medical treatment.”
Elevate has canceled ‘teen night’ at all Illinois locations in response to the Peoria incident.
