SPRINGFIELD, Ill. — A total of 32,559 COVID-19 vaccine doses were given between Monday and Tuesday to Illinoisans.
With that, the state officially surpassed the mark of one million doses administered. The exact number as of Tuesday was 1,028,969.
2,304 people tested positive during the reporting period while 47 deaths statewide were reported.
Hospitalizations across the state as of Monday night stood at 2,447. 533 were intensive care patients, while 265 were on ventilators.
Labs collected just short of 61,000 specimens to be tested for the virus.
