PEORIA, Ill. – A Peoria man arrested for Burglary and other charges a number of times since 2006 has been arrested for another burglary.
Peoria Police say officers were called just after 11 p.m. Monday for a burglary in progress near Voris and Bond in the North Valley.
As officers say they noticed some broken windows on one side of the building, a K-9 discovered Derrell Curtis, 33, hiding behind a staircase, with a backpack in tow containing tools and some stolen property.
Curtis is now in the Peoria County Jail, charged with Burglary and Possession of Burglary Tools.
