EUREKA, Ill. – A Woodford County man who was a resident of the campground he worked at when he allegedly sexually abused a young girl is now out of custody.
Woodford County Circuit Court records indicate Jose Emmett, 26, posted bond in both that case and another where he’s facing felony drug charges, and was released from jail.
Emmett allegedly had the sexual contact at Timberline Campground June 14th and 26th, and may have also given the girl alcohol. He also allegedly has had more than five hundred grams of cannabis in his possession.
It’s not clear if Emmett still works at the campground.
He’s scheduled to be back in court Thursday, ahead of a potential trial in November.
