WASHINGTON, Ill. — Several local fire departments responded to a structure fire in Washington Monday morning.
Crews were called to the scene just after 8 a.m. in the 1300 block of School Street, finding the building fully engulfed in flames.
Northern Tazewell Fire District Assistant Chief David Housworth told news partner 25 News that no one was believed to be in the building when they arrived.
The cause of the fire has not been determined.
Crews from Northern Tazewell, Washington, East Peoria, Spring Bay and Germantown Hills helped fight the blaze.
