PEORIA, Ill. – Carle Health of Greater Peoria will be looking for a new leader.
Current president Keith Knepp will be leaving the role on July 1st, after accepting a position at Heartland Health Services as Chief Medical Officer.
In a statement, Carle Health credits Knepp for growing clinical services that includes Trillium Place and Young Minds Center, as well as supporting development of the future healthcare workforce.
“We are grateful to Dr. Knepp for his leadership and the way he has been an advocate for this region, our teams and our patients,” said Matthew Kolb, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Carle Health. “We have a great team in Peoria who deliver outstanding care every day. We will continue to support our teams and ensure uninterrupted, high-quality care for the patients and community.”
Heartland Health Services says Knepp will provide clinical leadership and services across Peoria, Tazewell, and Woodford Counties.
