PEORIA, Ill. – A body found in a building in Peoria’s Averyville neighborhood on Tuesday is that of a man that was reported missing at the start of the year.
Peoria County Coroner Jamie Harwood says the body of 50-year-old Tario Fuller was found in a building in the area of Adams and Alexander just after 4:45 P.M.
Fuller was last seen walking out of Arcadia Care in Peoria Heights on January 3rd, when he told staff he was returning to Chicago.
Harwood says the body was not identified at the time of discovery due to prolonged environmental exposure, but there were no signs of trauma.
He says Fuller was identified through tattoos and surgical scars, then through family members, medical records, and autopsy findings.
Harwood says preliminary autopsy findings on Fuller were inconclusive.
